There is some background information on the Eveleth name.

Here is the list starting with Jason Haupt Eveleth my dad down through Silvester Eveleigh who moved his family across the pond to Massachusetts and a little on his father John Eveleigh in England.

The most exciting story, of course, is that of Joseph Eveleth as a juror at the Salem witch trials who later apologized for his participation.

If you can link yourself into this family tree, I would love to hear from you.

Hello, Bob Eveleth. Walter (Wally) Eveleth was my father, brother of Herbert Eveleth. My dad was born in 1911; Herb was older, but I don't know his date of birth. They had two sisters: Hazel and Mary Ruth. Their father was Walter Eveleth; his wife, Nora (Casey) Eveleth. My dad was a prison guard and died in 1993. I do have a decent genealogical history in manuscript of the Eveleth family and can probably provide some more information, if anyone's interested.
All the best,
Lois Eveleth

My Grandfather, Herbert Eveleth, lived in Peabody, Mass. He was born around 1915 (give or take five years)
He had a brother named Wally--who I believe was a prison guard, and a sister who I believe was named Ruth. I THINK my Great Grandfather's name was Walter--he was a policeman in Boston (or around Boston).
Does anyone know where Herbert would be in the family tree?
Thank-you,
Bob Eveleth

Nice website, but... You write "If you can link yourself into this family tree, I would love to hear from you." How? I see no way to send you an e-mail. Also, it would be great if you would post the sources for this data. Ted

I would like to see how my family tree can be traced to Silvester Eveleigh.
